Take a moment and picture your life without your better half. After years of being used to waking up next to her, imagine if one day you wake up and she’s no longer there. You try and go look for her but in the back of your mind you know that your nightmare has just become a reality. She is gone. Not gone in the moving sense, but gone as in dead.
At this point you may go through several stages of grief which include everything from denial, anger bargaining and depression to finally one day accepting it.
